Titreyengöl, which is considered as Turkey's tourism paradise, Titreyen Lake, located in Sorgun town of Manavgat district of Antalya, has an area of approximately 3000 square meters. There are 220 different facilities in total in Titreyengöl. These facilities have a bed capacity of 18000. Titreyengöl really got its name because of its trembling sensation. Titreyengöl Legendary Story, according to the legend told, there was a fisherman living very close to Titreyengöl. This fisherman always fed the birds living on the lake. Whenever the birds on the lake saw the old fisherman, they would flap their wings and come towards the old fisherman. However, some fishermen hunting in the trembling lake shot the ducks living in the lake. Seeing this, the fisherman immediately walked towards the hunters and wanted to make them stop hunting ducks. However, these hunters tried to pick up the ducks that fell after they hit the lake after pushing the old fisherman. Seeing this, all of the birds began to flap their wings and succeeded in forming a large tornado. The hunters who saw this tornado immediately fled from the trembling lake. After this legend happened, the lake started to tremble constantly. When the people living in this region saw the trembling on the lake, they interpreted the old fisherman as the cry of birds. Thus, the name of the lake remained as Titreyengöl.
